Redesign a bit my original ones for the trio, then retook the lineart i did to be like a base and simply do color for the other pandas, so we have Ghost, Rain, Leaf, Pebble, Sunset, Maple and Pepper
I have several major predictions for the upcoming book Journey to the Dragon Mountain. I think these predictons have a good chance of happining.
Ghost intends to backstab Sunset in relatiolaion for deciving him but is force to change course after the monkeys turn on him and the Propserhills.
During the chaos he frees Rain and Peony and escape with help from Shiver and Nimbletail.
Around this time period Ghost explains why he fought with Plum in the White Spine. While Peony and Rain reveal that Orchid abadoned and seperated Rain and her littermates to protect them from those with selfish intentions.
With this exchange of information, Ghost and Shiver put two and two together and figure out that Ghost is the third triplet which makes Ghost feel even worse for not being able to make amends with Plum (She was Orchid's sister). Ghost then informs Rain and Peony that he is the third cub.
Following their escape they reunite with Leaf and Dasher but discover that Pepper had joined their party by pretending to be Leaf [and Rain's brother]. Ghost and co. expose Pepper and Leaf realizes that Ghost is her [and Rain's] brother not Pepper.
Pepper is then kicked out of Leaf's posses which had just joined forces with her silbings group (which contains Peony, Shiver and Nimbletail).
Together the Triplets and co. make their way to Dragon Mountain
During or after their jounrney they are ambushed by Sunset and our allies discover that Sunset never actually turned evil but (One of two possble explainations i've come up with).
Sunset was brainwashed or possesed by somthing/someone.
Or it turns out that Sunset is actually dead and that Dusk (or another relative) had taken the Dragon-Speaker's place. These afroementioned explanations would explain why Sunset never told Shadowhunter to lead him to Orchid when he [Sunset] had the oppertunity the year before.
Following "Sunset's" defeat, The Propserhill Pandas no longer doubt the Triplets role as Dragon-Speakers.
I dislike how Leaf turned out but I do like all the others.

Spoilers for River of Secrets ~~
So, at p.193, Rain gets a vision of her reflection and another "her" shoving the reflection in the water. Rain after that interpreters that is someone pretending to be her, take her place, get her out of the way. The thing is, who is the panda? Would the panda be Pepper who "jokes around being part of the triplet" and joins Leaf by the end of the book pretending to be her brother triplet or is it just Sunset getting rid of her (with the pit)? OR could be a mix of the two: Sunset actually works with Pepper and both have good acting skills (or Sunset was truly hostile towards Pepper at first but made a pact with Pepper when Ghost wasn’t looking?) Then, Sunset has an inside of the triplet and can make them fall to their demise.
What are your thoughts?

I'm pleased to announce that a polish publishing company called Nowa Basn is going to translate and publish "Creatures of the Flood" sometime this year.
Characters are Blossom and Ghost
I decided to figure out what some of the characters would be as candies. This was partially inspired by some of the videos that a Warrior Cats YouTuber, Moonkitti, does.
Leaf = Milk Duds: She looks soft and sweet, but on the inside, she's pretty tough.
Rain = Jawbreakers: She's tough and hard, but has a lot of layers, and is actually really sweet. Despite this, she can hurt you very bad if you're not careful.
Sunset = Spicy cinnamon candy: He looks like a sweet cherry candy, but then he's not. Instead, he's so spicy that you spit him out, but not before he falls into the back of your throat and tries to choke you.
Ghost = Water: He's not candy, he's boring. And every candy he touches he either melts or makes too sticky to eat. Everything would die without him, but you wish that he had a little more flavor.
Shadowhunter = Sugar Babies: Once, you get past that hard candy shell, there's... more hard candy. But it's a little softer, and pretty sweet, too.
Dasher = Strawberry Starburst: He's the best Starburst. Not the best candy you've ever had, but he's sweet enough that you definitely don't want the authors to kill him off.
Shiver = Blue cotton candy: She's super sweet and fluffy, and you would take her over the other candies any day. Also, she's unique, less common than pink cotton candy.
If you have any ideas for what candies characters would be, post them in the comments!
I have two theories about Sunset, one being why he seems to be different from his past self, the other predicting what will happen in book 2.
Theory 1: Brother Swap Theory
From what I recall in the first book, Sunset had a brother named Dusk, to which he claimed has died during the flood. To me it seems weird that the timing of Dusk's visit with Sunset (To which Sunset said they had rarely done) the flood happened.
So what if Sunset's brother Dusk is actually impersonating Sunset. This would explain why "Sunset" was easily scammed by the monkeys when supposedly eating magic bamboo that would grant him dragon speaker powers. The real Sunset wouldn't have fallen for this scam, for he would know if his real powers were returned. Another thing to point out would be that if Dusk was impersonating Sunset he would have to bear a close resemblance to Sunset in order to fool the other panda's. So that means that the real Sunset died in the flood the same moment when the new dragon speakers were born, so that his powers could transfer.
Theory 2: Time Change Theory
This theory doesn't regard Sunset as much as it regards the encounter between him and Ghost. On the map the mountains where Ghost and his snow leopard family live is above the northern forest where Leaf lives. At the end of the first book Ghost encounters Sunset who is supposed to be in the southern forest withe the Prosperhill pandas. So how did Ghost get to the southern forest without crossing the raging river that the other character struggle to cross.
This would only make sense if Ghost and Sunset didn't meet in the southern forest, but the northern forest. So I wonder if Ghost's perspective is written in the past since he had no encounters with any other characters. It would also make sense that Sunset would be in the northern forest in the past before eventually crossing the river and meeting the Prosperhill pandas. So maybe in book 2, Ghost is helping Sunset from the shadows to which we could see the repetition of events in book 1 but from Ghost's perspective.
To @RaggedClawTh3R3D 's demand, here are my interpretations of Rain and Leaf. There's also a size difference of the trio of siblings and a closer look at Leaf's face pattern.
Just saw that the cover for next book is out, and so decided to update my personal reference for him. Before he was all white with black muzzle, but with the new cover, he is shown with a rosy muzzle and not a normal black one. Plus, his eyes seems red, so is he albino? Or was it just an artistic choice by the cover artist?
But yeah, the pattern for the reference is really artistic liberty. Did the same with his sisters who each have personal patterns to be able to recognize each.
Idk if there already are pages for them, but it seems that Shiver at least should have a page because she's the most likely to reappear.
