Racer, or Racer Climbing Far, is a female red panda, and the mate of Scratcher.

- Racer is first seen when her mate, Scratcher, is killed by a tiger. She is devastated by the loss of her mate, and later leaves with the rest of the red pandas, as well as the Slenderwood pandas. She, along with the rest of the red pandas and pandas, excluding Leaf and Dasher, mysteriously disappeared after the earthquake that killed Winter.
