Snowstorm, or Snowstorm Born of Winter, is a young adult female snow leopard, and one of the adoptive siblings of Ghost. She has a half mauled ear[1] and a long tail[2].
Like her littermates, she cared deeply for Ghost even after learning they were not actually related to one another. However, when Winter was killed in an earthquake, Snowstorm disowned Ghost, blaming the latter for their mother's death. Shiver unsuccessfully tried to discourage her biological siblings from scapegoating their adoptive brother, but to no avail. Snowstorm and Frost insisted that Ghost was to blame even after Shiver reminded them that the earthquake was at fault for Winter's death, not Ghost. After Shiver and Ghost departed the White Spine, Snowstorm remained at the Endless Maw to mourn her mother alongside Frost.
Snowstorm and Frost hunted for themselves and defended their land from older Snow leopards keen to supplant the pair. Once they jumped the Endless Maw, an earthquake struck and the two siblings decided that the Snow Cat's will was for them to stick together. They later reunited with Ghost and helped him on his quest to find his own Seeing Stone.
Personality and Traits[]
Snowstorm cares about her family very much and is loyal to them. She defended Ghost against Brisk and Sleet's insults, though when Winter was killed in an earthquake, she disowned Ghost blaming him for their mother's death, calling him a "freak" and attempting to attack him. Snowstorm did not attempt to stop Ghost when he decided to leave the mountain and was unhappy when Shiver decided to leave to find him, showing that she cared more about her biological sister than her adopted brother.
In Journey to the Dragon Mountain, Snowstorm, along with Frost, is shown to be remorseful for disowning Ghost, and hopes that he along with Shiver are okay.

- As Ghost chases after Brawnshanks's Troop, he is reminded how he struggled to keep up with Snowstorm and Frost. Snowstorm is mentioned in Ghost's thoughts when he notices that Pepper never mentioned his supposed siblings by name and when he did, he always spoke of them as a unit. Never anything like "Snowstorm used to do" .
